EC Missions

Exchange Church desires to be a people shaped into the image of Jesus Christ by loving our neighbours near and far.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19

A Word

From Our EC Mission Ministry Leader

Exchange Church sees global missions as a high priority and vital work for the church to carry out. Jesus very clearly laid out the global plan for missions in Matthew 28.

Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV) –  And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

At Exchange Church, we are 100% committed to having a mission’s ministry to grow Jesus’ kingdom and to grow our faith for His glory. We desire this ministry to have a prominent profile within the church to keep people’s hearts stirred with the love of Christ through the gospel going to all the nations.

The EC Frontline Global Mission’s Team, guided by the Spirit and prayer, has taken some action in working in partnership with other like-minded bodies and people to witness and advance God’s kingdom in places at home and overseas. Organisations such as Teen Challenge, Open Doors, Tongan Evangelical Wesleyan Church disaster relief and Samaritan’s Purse Ukraine disaster relief are organisations that we have financially supported.

We support John and Jenny Davidson who work with Australian Aboriginal Outreach Mission in Carnarvon Western Australia.

They have been situated in Carnarvon for the last thirteen years and are involved in a slow and demanding work with many challenges and rewards within the  indigenous  community.

Our missionaries to Mauritius, Damien and Hannah Tanner, together with their children Adelene and Liam, commenced their service in August 2023. Damian will be working at Lighthouse school to help develop and manage the school farm, in order to teach students farming skills to grow their own produce.

Wolfgang and Dianne Sue who we support are missionaries working in Northern Thailand since 2014 with the Isan people. The Isan region is one of the most unreached areas for the gospel in our world today.
