Hello all,

One of the many beautiful aspects of Jesus Christ is the peace that the gospel brings. In a world that is deeply marked by turmoil and unrest, Jesus speaks peace into our lives. As we submit ourselves to His Lordship over our lives and rest in His good providence in ordering our days, we can experience His deep peace.

Philippians 4:7 (ESV) — 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God’s peace guards our hearts and minds from becoming anxious and fearful about life, He holds all things in His hands. That’s gospel peace that we can count on.

What’s on at Exchange Church this weekend:

  • ECY – EC Youth Friday 7:00pm at the church.
  • EC Christmas Sunday service 10:00am.
Please check your texts and inbox for information on bringing food for lunch.
Also as we’re expecting many visitors, we’re asking that our EC family can fill up the front rows to leave room for guests at the back.
  • EC Corporate prayer 5:00pm Sunday in the lounge.

This week will be a different service with more carols as we sing the Christmas story. We’ll be sharing from Isaiah 9:1-7 “Son of Peace”.

Please read through Isaiah 9 to help set the scene for Sunday’s sermon.

In His peace,
